Diane Elkins of Artisan E-Learning is a board member of the Metro-DC chapter of ASTD and is an e-learning expert. She’s offered to do a webinar with our chapter on IS E-LEARNING RIGHT FOR YOU? Attend this webinar and register to win a book on the E-Learning Uncovered series
Is E-Learning Right for You?
This is the first of our ESIG events. E-learning brings the promise of training people anywhere, anytime. Not only can you get training to your audience quickly, but you can also eliminate expenses for travel and facilities. But does that mean it is always a good fit? What are the downsides? Can you really train as effectively online? Can you teach any type of content to any type of audience? If you do use e-learning, should you use self-paced training? Live webinars? Blended learning?
In this session, you’ll explore the types of e-learning, advantages and disadvantages of e-learning, and tips to decide when it is a good fit and when it isn’t.
