What Rudy  the Albino Lab Rat Taught Me About Training

Presented by

Jennifer Clayton

An interactive evening program on how to use training to effect behavioral change: Let shaping, chaining, and discrimination training put you ahead of the rat race.

PRESETATION DETAILS:

Do you strive to apply the best practices in training and development to your everyday work? Would you like to be able to sift through the vast body of knowledge on topics such as instructional design, teaching, training, and coaching, to get at the root of what works and doesn’t work? Are you wondering how to be more efficient and effective at what you do? If so, take it to the Skinner box! Whether you are a learning strategist, business partner, project manager, or professional specialist, the ultimate goal of your work is to affect behavior – to get people to do something they would not have otherwise done. In this interactive presentation, you’ll learn how understanding a rat’s behavior can help you understand a person’s behavior. Rudolph the albino lab rat will show you how to analyze behavioral contingencies, put reinforcement to work, extinguish unwanted behavior, and produce more of the behavior you want to see. Let shaping, chaining, and discrimination training put you ahead of the rat race.
